About the Masterclass
Gamification may be defined as the process of integrating game theory, game elements, and game mechanics in order to engage employees and managers, enhancing their participation and performance.
Games provide immediate feedback, which appear to be more effective and efficient than traditional learning and change strategies, while exhibiting many complementary values to coaching and mentoring. Virtual environments and simulations have been found to be very effective when contrasted with non-digital methods, because of their immersive experiences. At the same time, card games and 3-dimensional games can present employees with compelling challenges set in realistic environments. It allows them to apply new concepts and learning to realistic work contexts.
Gamification in enterprise is an experience that helps:
In KM and change initiatives, gamification can build passion, participation, rigour, organization, discipline, resiliency and grit. Simulations can construct immersive environments for experiential learning. In this Masterclass you will learn how to design games for knowledge management and organisational change initiatives.
